We are always in need of help. Just give us a call or stop in at one of our meetings to see how you can make a difference. We can use your help in any of the following areas: Fund-raising, shelter maintenance, transportation of cats to and from veterinary clinics, foster homes, supply pick up. All ideas welcome.

Your membership in CCFOA will improve quality of life and exceptional care provided to the cats and kittens that are housed at the shelter. CCFOA is funded completely by donations, adoptions, fund-raisers and membership program. No government funding is provided. Would you like to help out but not sure how? Check out our Wish List. Items can be dropped off at the shelter weekdays 9 AM to 5 PM Saturday and Sunday 9 AM to 3 PM or you can call 570-325-9400 to make other arrangements. Any contribution is greatly appreciated!

We could also use volunteers to pick up items such as cat food and litter donated from local stores. Give us a call for more info.

Purina Weight Circles - Save the weight Circles found on bags of Purina Cat foods and help earn money for CCFOA ! Weight circles may be mailed or brought to the shelter or Deezine's Flowers. Look for weight circles on the following products: Pro-Plan- Adult and Kitten, Purina One- Adult and Kitten, Purina, Veterinary Diets- Feline Formulas, Purina Cat Chow, Purina Kitten Chow, Kit "N Kaboodle, Happy Cat and Tender Vittles.

Recycle and help us earn money.

Don’t throw away your empty ink jet, laser cartridges or cell phones. The shelter is currently participating in CKA Associates’ Ink Jet, Laser Cartridge and Cell Phone Recycling Program. CKA will pay the shelter $1.00 - $12.00 for empty cartridges and $2.50 for each digital cell phone, working or not. All the funds will go to great need here at the shelter. The community can greatly contribute in this effort by turning their trash into cash for the shelter. Please save your empty cartridges and cell phones and ask your neighbors, family, friends and co-workers to give you theirs. Please contact me at   ccfoashelter@yahoo.com for more information's on ways you can help us earn a few extra dollars to help the needy animals we have here at the shelter. Sorry this program doesn't except Epson cartridges.
